Feeling Mos Def's Swag these days it's all about the effortless gentleman look and he has got it on lock! Featuring On Union's site in their lookbook for the Union x Mark Mcnairy collaboration (Black & Blue) shoe which they are now calling "The Blue Bey". I've posted about Mcnairy before he does make a good a shoe, crazy designer! For more pics of the shoot visit link below.

Mos Def at XOYO
Mos Def graced London with his presence last Thursday in the intimate at XOYO to headline Ben Sherman's V.I.P (Very Important Plectrums) Launch Night. A charity project in partnership with Trekstock, The night was amazing and had a unimaginable turn out with over a 1000 people coming out to support the cause (plus see Def) the line was crazy! There was a mix of celebrities, Industry Folk, Models, Hip-Hop heads and the indie hoxton lot all in one room, don't think I've ever seen or heard of one brand managing to do that before.
Kill it Kid opened up but unfortunately I missed it due to helping with interviews outside (But managed to hear during soundcheck so I know they were great), however with free drinks following and great music from the beginning to end I would say overall it was a successful night and hopefully raised awareness for not only the Auction which will be taking place from the 29th of May but also the beautiful direction Ben Sherman is going in as a brand .

Mos Def recently did an interview on the importance of fashion, found it quite interesting and was reinforced even more when I got to see him last Thursday at XOYO when he remixed Ben Sherman famous saying "Looking good isn't important, it's everything" into "looking like shit is not an option!"
