Pac Div - Anti-Freeze

YES THEY'RE BACK!!!! I think I have to be Pac Div's biggest groupie, seriously ever since stumbling across some of their material a year and a bit ago I've been hooked on Mibbs, Be-Young and Like's west coast flow. From tracks like "Women Problems", "Whiplash", "Mayor" to "Rollin" on their sophomore mixtape "Don't Mention It" they are so different from all the crap out there right now.

To me they are that real Hip Hop and have toured with the likes's of Love Marzjoy, U-N-I, Asher Roth and The Cool Kids. You can't even begin to imagine how elated I am right now! About to finish listening to their third mixtape "mania" after a very long anticipated wait and I'm already hoping they bless the UK with their presence soon and that the Debut album "Grown Kid Syndrome" comes out soonish!

Man Like Me at KoKo

After missing them in January at XOYO (Apparently the gig ended with a big party on stage) was so gutted I couldn't make it. So I'm most definitely making sure I get a ticket to their gig at KoKo on April the 24th. For those who aren't familiar with Man Like Me seriously you need to google them asap! They have been around for a while and have quite a following having played gigs from Estonia to Camden town.

They are unique and a breath of fresh air and having met them in person they are very very cute ladies & gents! Plus they are in a league of their own and always have rave reviews when it comes to their shows but you can't just take my word on this you have to exeperience the hype for yourself! With earlybird tickets only priced at £8 you'd be mad not too !!!

Bio - Couture

I know they say money doesn't grow on trees but very soon clothes sure will. With the world starting to run out of natural sources (Oil, Fossil Fuels, Petroleoum, Natural Gas e.t.c). A Senior Researcher of Central Saint Martins Suzanne Lee has come up with the concept of growing fabric/material from bacterial cellulose which will then create garments. Enviromentally friendly and sustainable though still in experimentation mode I think this idea is not only genius but very innovative, you should check out youtube for videos on the process. Here are few examples of what your future clothing might look like.

World Photography Festival

© Liam Arthur courtesy Sony World Photography Awards 2011.

Being Held at the beautiful Somerset House, The World Photography Festival will be running from the 26th April to the 1st of May and will be housing a variety of exhibitions including the Sony World Photography Awards 2011 to the work of the Student Fous Award Winners.

Also with a festival pass (worth £30) you can have access to workshops,  seminars, talks, unlimited access to exhibitions for the whole running of the festival and special evening presentations. Pretty good value for money if you ask me and if your in  love with photography or just merely interested it is well worth the penies.

It's in Partnership with Vodafone London Fashion Weekend & iStock Photo who are actaully throwing a afterparty for the Gala ceremony which is being held in Leciester Sqaure, it will be pretty great for networking for all you budding photographers and oh did I forget to mention they'll be free cocktails?!

Big Sean - My Last ft. Chris Brown

So I've been trying to resist this song for a while since Big Sean slightly reminds me of a younger Kanye West. Who I feel ( kill me if you like) is no longer the same after the "Graduation" album and messed around with the bald headed beast, but I can't deny Big Sean is one of the only new rappers that I actaully like. Yes I'm very much anti Wacka Flocka Flame seriosuly the name says it all. Unlike Wacka, Big Sean is kind of fresh and is also 'dorning TISA (a label that every cool kid/hipster will be rocking soon if not already). So maybe just maybe he might actaully turn out to be a disappointment? Hmmmmm time will tell.....

Daley - New Music

The spring / summer playlist is in full swing and nothing beats a bit of Neo- Soul. This version of Maxwell's famous "Pretty Wings is sung by newcomer Daley who instantly entrances my little sister from the first note and she's quite a tough cookie to impress. He's been on the underground circuit for a while and is also featured on the Gorillaz single Doncamatic (you should check out the live lounge version). Check him out!

Chocolate Festival

My advice for those who have given up chocolate for Lent Is avoid southbank this weekend at all costs, those who haven't and are chocolate fanatics Southbank Centre will be a heaven on earth for you over the next two days. With free chocolate overflowing everywhere and the perfect place to get those last minute Easter eggs The chocolate festival is the chocoholics dream. It's also giving workshops for the kiddies and tasting sessions, so get yourself down there perfect day out in this beautiful weather + IT'S FREE!

All Strapped Up

So I'm not the biggest fan of S&M  but it seems some of it's features is now trickling into high fashion down to the high street and although I'm not keen on strapping myself in leather or adorning my body in PVC. I am rather intrigued by some of it's more subtle watered down versions....

Shape Shifting Dishwashers

Spotted back in 2009 by a Marissa Brassfeild. These shape-shifting dishwashers are supposed to save time, water and money. Designed By Teo Kai Qiang these innovative washers also re-shape crockery whilst being washed and dried. What you think?

A Very Maxi Summer

It's a Special thing when all you can see is a clear sky + the sun shining in this country especially in April and nothing says summer more than a floor sweeping dress. Seen on almost every catwalk for S/S '11 this versatile dress can be worn from day to night coming in very bright hues, Floral / Aztec/ Animal print and soft shades it can make any woman feel and look like a greek goddess. Here are a couple of my  favourite peices, you like?

                                       Emillio Pucci

                                            Blumarine

                                         Ports 1961

Arm Candy For A/W '11

With wrap - around jewellery set to be big for Autumn/ Winter '11, I'm currently drooling over this timepiece and hope by some miracle some beautiful person gives this to me for my birthday....Worth £26,000 this timeless Bulgari peice is probably the salary of some of the UK's population for the year. Oh one can only dream ....

Acea EcoArt 2010 Pure Water Vision

Came across this whilst scouring coolhunting.com. It's one of the works of a finalist from the Pure Water Vision Competition which will be shown in Rome from April 5th.

Can you imagine coming across this on the beach?

Limitless Trailer 2011 HD

Thanks to Orange Wednesdays I dragged myself to see... What turned out to be one of the best movies I've watched in a while. Limitless is a film that is not only thought provoking but will  also keep you on the edge of your seat and have you debating whether this pill exists ( I'm convinced it does) oh and the beautiful Bradley Cooper isn't bad either.
For those who haven't watched it I recommend you rush down to your nearest Filmhouse becasue this one is definitely not to be missed!
For those that have I have to ask if you had the opportunity to have this clear pill what would you do?

The Breakfast Club

As I'm semi- new in LDN, I'm really enjoying exploring the fashion's capital through the most important sensory...TASTE! I love food, I’m sure so do the rest of you so am therefore going to do a feature on the interesting/unique places that serve gorgeous & not so gorgeous food once a month. Suggestions are very much welcome!

To start of this feature of is one of the most unique restaurant’s I've been to since moving to London. An amazing hidden space within Hoxton called "The Breakfast Club". With its distinctive decor , I can honestly say it definitely differs from any other restaurant I’ve ever eaten in, with its old - school looking wooden furniture, vintage television and exposed brickwork not forgetting the mini disco in the toilets. This place is almost like the movie “The Breakfast Club” so unique it shouldn’t work but it does.

Having opened their club in Soho 2005, Its Hoxton sibling is equally famous for it's all-day breakfast. With a menu that ranges from American style pancakes, eggs Benedict to burritos and club sandwiches it has a bit of something for everyone.  I opted for my favourite instead Chicken Wings - Buffalo Wings to be exact that comes with a Blue cheese dressing and celery. The table filled with other finger licking dishes that I suddenly yearned for but when my handsomely portioned plate came I knew I had made the right decision.

The food there is absolutely beautiful. So good I went back two today’s later to cure my hangover with a club sandwich that definitely hit the spot...I promise you will think about days after you've digested it.

If its bright yellow doors don’t draw you in I’m sure their food will I highly recommend you at least try once.

S/S 11 Married To The Mob

I have to say since their first collection in 2004 Married To The Mob have definitely secured a place within the "street-edgy- luxe" sector. With Kid Sister as their front woman for their Spring/Summer 11 Collection and the simple yet stand-out graphic work that they are famous for.  MTTB have created tees that not only have that kick-ass personality and look good but also will suit every individual female taste. So I wouldn't bide my time if I was you ladies as the collection is already selling out quick!

Beautiful People

Yes Spring has officially sprung and summer is only around the corner. Which means the soundtrack to your spring/summer 11 is already in the works and Benny Benassi's latest offering feat Chris Brown needs to be the at the top of your playlist.

This track has already got me imagining fist pumping breezy summer nights and am sure is definitely going to make you feel like the same!
